I have been looking at the images from the Alexander Mcqueen memorial service at St.Pauls and in my opinions the outfits arriving there were ten times more special than next seasons designer collections over at Somerset House.
In attendance were figures from the fashion world such as Kate Moss, Niomi Campbell, Anna Wintour, Sarah-Jessica Parker and Daphne Guiness all wearing amazing Mcqueen creations both old and new.
However the dress more amazing than any other was worn my singer Bjork who preformed at the service. The dress paid perfect tribute to Mcqueen, completely impractical, huge and slightly crazy. The Outrageously large winged coloured corset was made of what looked like metal or tin and from the waist down Bjork exploded into feathers. This was clever outfit choice as it almost made her look like a angel, ... an angel in couture !
